Who is Bruce Lou?
That's the question that has voters in California and San Francisco abuzz. After all, who would be willing to step up to challenge Nancy Pelosi's 35-year-long chokehold on power, and why?
Bruce Lou has pulled papers to run for San Francisco's congressional seat currently held by Pelosi. Bruce is a Bay Area native who owns a hiring and career consulting business based out of San Francisco. A graduate of California public schools and the University of California, Bruce has always had a can-do attitude to problem-solving and a trailblazer mentality.
Bruce decided to run after witnessing the complete failure of elected officials to represent their constituents' interests. While San Franciscans dealt with surging crime, out-of-control inflation, and governmental encroachment on fundamental rights, their elected representatives further enriched themselves while victim-blaming their own voters for their woes. Bruce stepped up to the plate to challenge Nancy Pelosi as a foil to her decrepit tenure as the young, common-sense candidate who will fight for the people of San Francisco.
Despite knowing the odds, Bruce is optimistic.
"If there's anything that Jeopardy! has taught me, it's to swing for the fences," Bruce said. "I was lucky enough to hear some words of advice from Ken Jennings before I was set to go on stage. Fight for what you believe in, do your best, and you'll go far."
